Carmel Beach Walk Vacations from $937

This is a brand new property, everything is clean and the design is lovely. Our only observations are that our room still smelled like new construction/paint. Obviously that's temporary. Our "premium" room was also directly on a street that had street parking and as a result was very noisy with cars coming and going. Others will have a different experience staying elsewhere in the hotel.

We booked a queen bed but walked into a room with a full bed. Air conditioning did not work very well unless you open up a window but that beats the purpose of the air conditioner. Few interesting stains in various spots around the room. TV was not working properly either. Not a horrible spot if you’re just planning on spending 1 night. Pros are that the beach is in walking distance and there’s plenty of stores to grab food and whatnot in walking distance as well.

I knew the property wasn’t going to have any luxuries or be fancy. But the place can really improve on the cleaning. Besides having mismatching old furniture, the room wasn’t really clean. Bathroom had stains from a previous leak.
